Volkswagen Pasadena staff have again been...

Volkswagen Pasadena staff have again been professional, kind, helpful and completed good work in a timely manner. Clare reported the issues identified by the technician, patiently discussed and explained each issue, responding to my questions, I was able to make a decision peacefully. Further, the discussion helped me identify a plan for a few of the issues identified by the technician, but for which the costs are much larger than I can afford in one month. So I expect to return in the next month or so for the next step in addressing issues and needs. I know I have a choice, and so far (10 years) I've continued to feel that Volkswagen Pasadena is trustworthy for maintenance and repair. I know that there are other VW dealerships nearby (not just Alhambra, owned by the same people, but other cities within 20 minutes), and I know that there are _many_ independent shops here in Pasadena that focus on VW/Audi--with the independent shops, I would enjoy lower costs as well. With 2 previous cars (these were not VW), I left the respective dealer service agency because their behavior raised serious questions and disturbed me. So for now, I've seen consistently good work by the service writers and the technicians at VW Pasadena, found them patient, kind, cordial and trustworthy, and am glad that VW Pasadena is also convenient. Clare S. has handled a number of service visits now for my car, her work is professional, clear, and good-natured. There are other writers who have been with VW Pasadena for at least a few years, they've done good work as well. So it's assuring to know that alongside Clare's consistently good work, her colleagues also do appropriate and good work. My point: I'm glad that I'm not 'stuck' working with only one good service writer, having to 'avoid' others on the staff. So on a positive note, I'm glad I remain a customer of VW Pasadena, knowing that I have a choice. --Mark Braden

Tom Andrews was exceptional I went in to...

Tom Andrews was exceptional I went in to get my 1st 10,000 mile service performed on a GLI and Tom made me feel very welcomed. I was greeted promptly and received a level of service that I would typically experience at other high end German dealerships. The work was performed promptly and I received my car within the same day even though I had them check into a metallic rattling noise. Tom, immediately called a service tech to ride with me so they can hear the noise that I was describing which was very unexpected. I definitely would take my car back to VW Pasadena to service my car

I had just bought the used car. Tom Andrews helped me learn the ins and outs of the car. Additionally, couldn't have asked for better results from the realignment. The only down side was the car wash, specs of either pollen or yellow bird poop still remained on the car. The local gas station gets me better results on the outside.

I brought in my 2010 TDI Jetta Sportwagon...

I brought in my 2010 TDI Jetta Sportwagon for 40K service yesterday. Matthew Bell helped me and he was wonderful. He kept me informed of all the services being provided, and took the time to answer my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. He followed up on all the details, including getting my shuttle ride to and from the dealership. In addition, he went ahead and had the interior roof of my car cleaned b/c there had been old stains from a previous sunroof leak. I was amazed and greatly appreciative of this, to say the least. I had a very easy experience yesterday, with all the confidence that Matthew was looking out for my best interest, and for that I am grateful. See you at the 50K!! Thank you, Alex

I normally go thru Claire for my regular...

I normally go thru Claire for my regular service visits (I really appriciate Claire!). This morning I was taking my kids to school and my breaks were metal on metal. I really panicked! I still had a 20 mile drive to my work in Pasadena. I called in and got Sal. He calmed me down and got my car in right away. I also had another problem I had been putting off for a while with the recirculation valve in the glovebox. Sal was really great at explaining the process , parts and labor. He called me at work for updates and when we had to order parts for the break boots, he arranged a loner car for me. The service was great and Volkswagen has been a great car for me!

I was on my way home to San Diego when I...

I was on my way home to San Diego when I discovered my car was suddenly in need of repair. I called your service dept (found the name of dealer on Google) Spoke to Ben in the service department. I brought my car in approximately at 8:30 a.m., I advised Ben that I really needed to be on the road by at least 2:00 p.m. in order to avoid a long drive in heavy traffic and if he could diagnose the problem and have me back on the road. He was very accommodating and was able to get me going around 2:15 p.m. I declined the car wash as I did not want to incur any further delay to get going. I would definitely recommend your service department to anyone who asked me. The waiting lounge was also very comfortable with warm fresh coffee and other items.

I have been looking at the Tiguans for the...

I have been looking at the Tiguans for the last 6 months. I've owned 4 VW's in my life and my most recent was a Cabrio. I definitely needed more space and the Touareg is too big. I requested a lease quote online and got a reply from Peter immediately. He was very helpful through the entire process and found a great deal for me. I went in for a test drive and he showed me how everything works. When I finally picked up my car Peter and PK were very attentive. They answered all my questions and gave me lots of advice. I'm very happy with the service I've received.
