2024 Volkswagen ID.4 Electric Vehicle
At Volkswagen Pasadena we're excited to be receiving the new upgraded 2024Â ID.4 vehicles in inventory soon.Â
The 2024 ID.4 will
come in three trim levels: Entry, S, and S Plus. It will have rear-wheel or
all-wheel drive with a choice of 62 or 82 kWh batteries. For its 82 kWh battery
variants, the 2024 ID.4 electric SUV receives a significant improvement. The
all-wheel-drive variant now has a maximum horsepower of 335, while the
rear-wheel-drive model delivers an astonishing 282 horsepower thanks to a new
performance drive unit. This power boost contributes to improved range and
acceleration.
The 82kWh variants of the ID.4 will feature a 12.9" enhanced display with backlit sliders and and updated climate control interface with a revised infotainment menu. Additionally, the 2024 ID.4 will have a revised steering wheel layout and a new shifter position.
The upgrades to the interior don't stop there. The 2024 ID.4 S models with the 82 kWh battery will have ventilated front-row seats. The S Plus get an upgrade harman/kardonTM premium sound system.
The 2024 ID.4 is improved externally by wheel improvements. The ID.4 AWD Pro vehicles will have larger 20" aluminum-alloy wheels, and the S Plus will come with 21" machined alloy wheels.
The starting MSRP for the 2024 ID.4 is $39,735 for models with 62 kWh and $44,875 for variants with 82 kWh not including destination charges.
MY24 Volkswagen ID.4 models (when released with SK On components) that are placed in service in 2024 will be eligible for the full $7,500 Federal Tax Credit on a purchase by a qualifying purchaser, making the ID.4 not only extremely affordable, but competitive with conventional compact SUVs. MY24 ID.4 qualification is based on current battery supply, but because vehicle qualification in 2024 is dependent on batteries not yet produced, qualification is subject to change. Volkswagen is optimistic that MY24 ID.4 vehicles will qualify during the entirety of 2024 and will provide updates when received.
